Measure four 15-inch leg pieces from the slatted angles. Put a piece of painters tape where you will need to cut.
Clamp the brackets to a table to hold them secure while you cut, using the tape as a guide, with a hacksaw. Be sure to cut through an oval. Sand the rough edges using a file until they are smooth.
Measure eight table frame pieces from the slatted angles. Put a piece of painter's tape where you will need to cut.
Clamp the brackets to a table to hold them secure while you cut, using the tape as a guide, with a hacksaw. Be sure to cut through an oval. Sand the rough edges using a file until they are smooth.
Lay all of the metal pieces out on newspapers. Spray metal paint on the pieces in your desired color. Allow one side to dry thoroughly before turning over to paint the other side.
Make a corner by attaching one 15-inch leg to two 18-inch frame pieces using bolts, lock washers and nuts. Do not tighten the bolts all the way. Make three more corners in the same fashion, forming a cube.
Cut an 18 1/2-by-18 1/2-inch piece of plywood using a jigsaw. Stain or paint the plywood in the color of your choice. Let the paint or stain dry thoroughly.
Place the plywood table top face down and set the metal cube on top. Put one screw through each of the metal bracket holes on each corner to attach.
Turn the table right-side up. Put a 16-inch wicker basket under the table in the open cube. This provides plenty of storage space.
