On a foosball table, every player is essential to making the game as fair and fun as possible. Occasionally, players break or become damaged for a variety of reasons, and then the foosball playing becomes impaired. Thankfully, there are plenty of replacement options for a foosball player that will not hinder the game anymore.
Instructions
- 1
Order a new replacement player from sport supply companies. Though foosball tables may be rare to own, several sport supply companies offer replacement parts for foosball tables. If they do not have a correct color, you can paint it to match your foosball table team.
2Use supplies from a local hardware store to repair the figure. If the figure is chipped, cracked or snapped, he can easily be replaced by supergluing the extra pieces together, and screwing the player back on.
3Apply some duct tape if the screw has become stripped or the superglue alone will not help a player stay. Use one layer of duct tape and wrap around the mid-section of the figure so that the extra duct tape does not provide extra power and size for the foosball player.
4Remove the same player from the other team. Unless it is a goalie or in a position that makes it easy to score goals, evening up the sides will make the game fairer. If it is the front line, then there will not be a huge difference during game play.
5Replace the broken foosball player with an action figure. Place the mid-section of the action figure against the bar where the player broke off of. Use an inch wide piece of duct tape to anchor the figure to the center pole. His feet should be about 2 centimeters from touching the base of the table.
6Secure the action figure with more duct tape and test it out with a few hits to see its strength. Adjust the amount of duct tape as needed and then use a knife to cut off the feet of the figure to prevent any ball scooping.
7Wrap two layers of duct tape around the severed feet to strengthen them like a normal foosball figure.
